STAR Net partners with many organizations (e.g., Collaborative Summer Library Program, NASA, SciStarter, GLOBE, American Society of Civil Engineers) to support a variety of national and international STEM events (e.g., 2017 Solar Eclipse, Our Planet: EARTH, CSLP summer learning themes). By offering programming tied to high visibility events, public libraries may draw upon many different types of program ideas and resources to attract the attention of their local community.

The STAR Net team promotes three to five high-profile events each year, providing public library staff with robust event planning resources. These include event websites, STEM Activity Clearinghouse resources, and webinars.
