Exploring Local Waters: A Place-Based Approach to Water Education and Conservation

Join STAR Net and members of the We are Water project team on October 10th from 11 am - 12 pm Mountain Time as we delve into the unique water systems of the Four Corners Region of the southwest. We will highlight culturally relevant engagement strategies around local water topics, discuss place-based approaches to inspire action for local conservation efforts, and showcase how to plan and implement your own Water Celebration Day using the assets and partners in your community. Apply to Receive a FREE Magnetometer and Contribute to Space Weather Science!

Join us on Wednesday, October 23rd at 1 pm Mountain Time to learn how your library can participate in the EZIE Mission, a collaboration between Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Lab (JHU APL) and NASA. Through the EZIE-Mag initiative, you can apply to receive a FREE magnetometer to study space weather and aurora science! The EZIE Mission is unique because it’s the first NASA mission where you and your community can directly engage with space weather and aurora research.
