Have you felt like remote learning during COVID-19 has been hectic and stressful? You are not alone and it doesn’t have to feel that way going forward. Join MMSA’s ACRES Project today and participate in highly interactive coaching sessions.
The ACRES Project brings together afterschool educators in live and interactive virtual workshops. They create small communities of reflection, so you have a safe and brave space to learn new skills. They offer you contact hours, certificates of attendance, and many ready to use resources. And they are excited to announce… stipends are still available and new cohorts are starting soon!
In response to COVID19, a new module (what is this?) was created…
Virtualizing Your Out-of-School Offerings
Have you felt like the last few months of remote learning during COVID-19 were hectic and stressful? Well, you are not alone with those feelings. It doesn’t have to feel that way going forward. Join this cohort and participate in highly interactive coaching sessions. You will reflect on what you did (if anything) and what you could do to virtualize your out-of-school STEM offerings. Bring your examples and questions. Tips, tricks, and tools will be shared as small groups come together to practice and hear success stories.
*The expectation is that you will be live at all three sessions and an active member of this coaching cohort.
MX34VL starts on November 5th.
Or perhaps you want to do more hands-on STEM in your afterschool program?
Ready, Set, STEM! & Asking Purposeful Questions
Are you ready to bring meaningful STEM learning into your program? This module offers educators who are new to facilitating STEM, the opportunity to build supportive relationships with other educators while exploring the principles of STEM learning. This module combines an introduction to STEM facilitation with the skill of Asking Purposeful Questions.
*The expectation is that you will be live at all three sessions and an active member of this coaching cohort.
MX32SR starts on December 3rd.
Check out all of the cohorts they have available through the ACRES project.
